Zion National Park

A great day! Peg's feet were much better yesterday afternoon so we decided to give them a little test with a 3 mile hike with 400' of elevation gain that started right at the campground. It was a success so Peg decided she was up for a crack at the Observation Point trail that I did on Tuesday. I think it is the premier hike in the park and was happy to do it again. We caught the 7AM shuttle to the trailhead and were on our way by 7:45. We took our time going up and had lunch at the top before heading back down.

Tomorrow morning we head to Marble Canyon where we start our raft trip on Saturday. I think we will have internet there so that will be the last post for twelve days. If there is no email tomorrow then this is the last post until we get off the river.

Thanks for the comments that you have been sending.

The trail was cut into the mtn by the CCC in the 1930s.

She made it!
A very happy couple
