Zion National Park

Good Karma from us last evening. Peg and I were sitting by the fire when two women and a man (mid to late 20s) pulled their car in front of our camper and walked up to us and said the campground was full and asked if they could use our tent site. We of course said yes. Turns out they are from Belgium visiting the States for a couple of weeks. Their English was great and we had a fun evening with them. They will probably be joining us again this evening as they are headed to Zion from Bryce and won't be arriving until late. I have already texted them our site number.

We arrived here at 9:30 to a full campground. We kept driving around the loops until a site opened up. It's a large overused campground and isn't as nice as Bryce. In this park no vehicles except shuttle buses are allowed in the canyon so with no hiking planned today we took the bus for the ten mile or so trip in and out of the canyon. The buses make about eight stops and we got of at several just to look around and take a few pictures.

Peg will probably give the feet another rest day tomorrow and I will do some hiking. Not sure what trail/trails yet.
